Wednesday was a big day for Temple football. As the first official day of the signing period where high school/junior college students sign contracts with the colleges they agree to go to the following year (Signing Day), 20 high school and junior college players agreed to sign with the Owls for the upcoming football season. An interesting feature that makes this year different from previous years is that while most of the players who were being recruited were local, a fair share of them from all over the United States.

Coach Matt Rhule made a noted change.
